Title: I'm selling my website.
Post by: Tristan on June 09, 2007, 05:29:25 pm

Hello there,

Is anyone interested in buying my successful website www.reflectionswindowcleaning.co.uk?  I'll give you the history of the site.  I had this website designed about 3 years ago.   Then when I got into water fed poles I basically changed the images and text and kept the same layout.  At first I tried to do all the traffic and rankings myself, but then I realized I needed some help, so in October 2006 I asked a company called increase visibility  to help me out.  They went through the whole site and optimized it.  Since then the site has been ranking higher and higher in the search engines.  If you look at my current rankings you will see that most of the keywords are on page 1.  I would say that most weeks I get offered to quote for big jobs.
The only reason I'm selling is because I'm moving away and I've decided to give driving instructing a go.
I will also give you a sister website www.reflectionswindowcleaning.org.uk.  While this does not produce as much it's still giving a few jobs.
I'm open to offers on this these websites?
If you would like any more information please email info@reflectionswindowcleaning.co.uk

So how many hits do you get a day.

How many Unique visitors do you get a day, uniques are what count not hits.

And are you aware of your alexa ranking??

You Joke around but online cummunities, such as this one where there is a very narrowly defined target audience which otherwise is very difficult to reach are worth a lot of money. The DIY site qualifies too. Someone said this had over a thousand registered members?

Anyway who needs money

I hate driving the maximum 5 mile radius for my work, so driving to London and back is out. :P

What i meant was that the site up for sale is not worth anything.

What do mean it's not worth anything!!?  It's true that anybody can build a website, but can you get in on page 1.  What's the point in having a website that nobody can see.  Even if you could do it it would take a least 6 months to get it where mine is now.

In March it had 460 unique visitors, april 425, and May 393 with over 4000 hits.

I think this site is well worth it.

How unprofessional! a spelling mistake on your site.  ;D

Quote from www.reflectionswindowcleaning.co.uk

" It's would also be very time cunsuming moving this heavy equipment around.  With the poles we can cover large surfaces of glass in less time and this is a saving we can pass onto you. "

And I thought my grammar was bad!  ;D   2 mistakes in that little paragraph :o

How many on the whole site???

It would not take months to get a new site to the same ranking as yours.
It is all down to the keywords.
I got my site in the top five on google when you seaech for window cleaners nuneaton, and this was all within 2 weeks of setting it up.
