Can anyone tell me what dog earing is and why it helps?
Had trouble with my squeege yesterday, keeps leaveing a thin line of water at the top and mid way.The guy i was with said that my rubber needs a trim as ther is no damage to the edge.
So i thought i would try to find out about dog earing.

If your rubber is leaving a line its got a nick in it. Even if you can't see the nick its there, change it.

lol
nice one! how long have you been surfing to find that!
Try washing the rubber before you replace it, it might just have a hair or a bit of paint on it.
Flip it around to use the other side first too.
I only dog ear my 14". It doesn't do anything for leaving lines in the middle of the rubber though.
