Title: First day with backpack
Post by: LWC on June 08, 2007, 01:48:43 pm
well, after my few worries about weight yesterday...i love it!

you can get round so quick, i didnt get all caught up, i wasnt there dragging the hose round, walking back and un hucking it.

just walked around and did the windows, and droped the stuff off! didnt have to reel the hose back round, just dropped the backpack off, ahhhhh i love it!

i really recomend it to anyone contemplating getting one

i usually make good money at it with the van mount, but it was so quick this morning, i made more than usual.

Nice one matt  ;)

I'm glad you like it. I'm planning to get one in the near future.

How did you attach your pole hose to it?

WAYHEY ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D a CONVERT ;D

Welcome to the world of the Backpack ;) ;)

NO HOSES to trip over....and reel out.....and reel in......
Just GRAB n GO ;D ;D

Mind you it will p*** you of when it runs out of water with 1 window to do ::)
But you'll soon get the nack of filling up at the right times.

Now the charger ???

It's c***p in my opinon ???

Go to Maplins and get a sealed lead acid battery charger AND a spare battery.  I have 3 batteries.

A spare battery from Maplins cost me £29.97 inc delivery and it arrived overnight.

I can usually get a full days work out of a charge which is around 8 - 12 largish houses on setting 2 but having a spare has allowed me to use more water because the trick of WFP is   -  rinse, rinse, rinse and rinse again!   :)

I sometimes use it with a 100 mtr microbore hose but mainly use it on a trolley because I cannot take the weight.

i have just realise that these batteries are the ones i used on my old trolley system...i have 4 spares so 5 in total now  ;D

yeh i did run out on the last window on one house before, manged to wash, didnt get chance to rinse, hope its ok lol

100m microbore you say? cool, i tried it on a 60m one beforecoiled up with no problems

what setting do you all use? i found setting 1 ample.

Use setting 2 except when using microbore and then its 3 but if pole at 24ft and on the m'bore I bump it up to 4 for a few minutes.
