Title: What would you buy?
Post by: AD Cleaning Ltd. on June 07, 2007, 10:37:24 pm
Hi all, as I am new here, firstly, may I apologise if this has been asked many times before. At present I run a Prochem Powerplus but am thinking of changing/upgrading etc. What would you guys recommend as an extremely reliable and powerful porty out on the market today? And secondly, which company would you endorse for good after sales?

Thanking you.

Ashby Ninja ticks all the boxes, heat, pressure, vac and it can be silenced. I tested evry machine on the market last year, none of them came close. £2300. at the moment with all the bells and whistles.
Regards,  Martin.

Just take your pick and go for it!  They all have pro's and con's, I would always recommend using a local manufacturer or dealer for ease.

I have a Ninja too with extra bells and whistles. Its too heavy. There isnt a temp gauge or an hour meter. The tanks are way too small.
Extracta give the best service by a mile. But I'll go back to Alltec when I get my next.

PS Dont anybody give me a smart Alec reply about the Ninja not being too heavy. I'm ex Army 6ft 2 and fit as a fiddle and the Ninja is too bleeping heavy    ( when you've got all the extras on it)

If you can get a 400 psi Ninja for £2300 inc vat hose and wand then that's a good deal.

My 135 Ninja was ok for starters but for £1895 you can't beat the Speedsters for sale on ebay. I dealt with Alan the guy flogging them because I wanted 2" hose and found him very good to deal with.

Yes the ninja does give very good results but on a purely, ease of use side -  does no-one find the ninja a bit of a pain with all the electrical leads running in different directions. ive had problems with plugs overheating and tripped switches so that I cant use all the bells & whistle stuff at the same time.
