Title: BRODEX 24FT PRO LONG AND PREDITOR 18FT
Post by: Luke Johnson on June 05, 2007, 10:38:51 pm
Hi guys, I'm new to the forum, I just wanted to ask you about  the poles I have just bought, the 25ft prolong with a free preditor 18ft. I held the brodex 25ft just after holding the facelift carbon fibre 24ft, it was just as stiff, felt a little heavier, and wasn't as slim, but for the money what do you think? have you ever tried one?

Where is the cheapest place to buy a facelift carbon 24ft inc vat and postage?

Thanks, Luke

You got a free 18ft pole! :o

That sounds a good deal.

If you dont mind me asking how much was it and where did you get it from?

I think facelift have revised their poles, if they have then they are bound to be very good.  I'm not a fan of them but if the new ones are any better I might buy one myself.

why? if you dont mind me asking
I posted last week asking if the brodex pro long was any good, as it happened I just bought a new 3 x 2 meter section unger style telepole and built it into a wfp, cheap repairable and suits my needs.
But with the facelift costing over £200 more and missing out on a free 18 ft pole am I missing something ie; are facelifts that much better? I've never tried one so I really would'nt know

Which begs the question are some that the suppliers are desperate to get rid of the old ones?

sybersye. the free pole is not for long term use as the reason for changing my pole was that the preditor 18ft has fallen to bits in 6months. the facelift is more expensive but lighter than the pro long & the preditor, everyone whos got one seems to think there the best pole to get & have heard of no complaints. i hope it lasts for years to come ::)

Ever thought about a Tucker pole with the new pennel clamps. Very rigid pole for cleaning over conservatories, well balanced, rigid, very slim handle, can be dismantled to required length and an excellent brush head. The only thing you need to do with them is change the jets for 2mm pencil jets. A very good pole just like the Facelift but a lot cheaper in comparison, cheaper to replace parts, pole sections and looked after properly should last up to 20 years.
