I looked at these about a year ago. Not really workable for WFP, although Peter Fogwill has made a similar principle work on his new pole.

I would love a light pole. I had a facelift on order for weeks, but had to buy something fibre glass and too heavy.
I'm using the top three sections of my aluminium unger mostly, but the tube is outside.
I saw the same pole with the tube inside on skypoles site but it wasŁ300.
The omni's seem similar but they too seem expensive.
I wish Gardiners site had more info on the poles and less info for starting newbies.

They probably have the best selection, they probably have some of the keenest prices, they probably have the best technical person behind them, they probably have the best range of options in mixing and matching lenghts ,brushes, taps and triggers.
But I don't find it that clear. If there could be some comment like this pole is for that or this is for first floor domestic, or this pole feels lighter than that one. This one has had terrific feedback etc.

So what you really want is someone to tell you which one to buy
-
Yes.
Now that I know a little bit(not much), I know that some of the other sites ar rip offs. If some one is trusted and has a good reputation yes I do follow thier advice.
I have bought many things Blind off Mike at Cleantech and he has never steered me wrong, but they don't sell everything.
Even someone like yourself with more knowledge, when someth9ing new comes out you must want reassurance, is it any good?

To be honest when I need someting I just buy it but its always an informed choice based on the feedback ive heard, mostly from this forum I might add
