I've just bought the 1" version - works a treat!

Thanks Steve had a look and it seems just right, I made a mistake I have a 1" outlet also. Is yours the same as on the website photo and was it around £20 plus postage and packing?
Seems odd that this is the only one of its type on sale I have looked at so many sites now and well apart from plastic fittings with hosetale nothing. Thats not very good really. though there would be a choice at least.
Kind Regards
Paul

Yes, thats the one.

As Trevor has said Gardiner's do various fittings.  A 1" Tank fitting elbow (£2.75) plus you'll need a plastic In-line ball valve (£3.60) plus hose clips and hoselock adapter.  Will work out about £12 plus carriage.  I used this setup for a year and it worked well but the isolating valve I mentioned in the above post for £20 is metal.  It seems you get what you pay for.

Steve ;)

If you want a fitting that terminates in a female Hozelock fitting with a valve, then the easiest solution would be a standard 1" tank elbow (£2.75) (http://www.gardenerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/tankelbow.jpg) a short length of 1/2" hose and then fit a valved QRC connector (£3.50) (http://www.gardenerpolesystems.co.uk/acatalog/valvedqrchoseconnector.jpg).

This would give you the end connector you need.
