Title: Anyone worn their microbore out?
Post by: Davew on June 01, 2007, 07:50:17 pm: Looking at mine today and I reckon I've got fifty metres of tired pipe and fifty of almost new. I think I might strip the hosereel and mount it with the worn half first.

Post by: Chris Cottrell on June 01, 2007, 08:20:59 pm: Now theres a darn good idea I have a cut in mine that is about 10 mtrs long It started when it got wedged under a gate with a sharp edge on it and I reeled it in and didnt notice untill a fine shred was winding around the reel with the hose, ever since then its bugged me but swapping ends may just be the ticket when its a bit more worn

When I got my Microbore Ian noticed that his was half again the diameter of mine.
It obviously swells after a while.

Mine's ok so far, but my clear tube to the brush is worn, and sometimes kinks. >:(
