Just charge your hourly rate and past the cost of hire to your customer

Three of us have just passed the IPAF qualification and we have already increased our day rate for platform cleaning by half again.

Your qualified charge more

We increase our rate by 50% to cover the cost of down time. Remember that operating a platform is much slower than using ladders or wfp so you need to compensate for slower working practices!!

I've just quoted to clean a full mill, 5 floors. Quoted hourly rate - £34, and passed the cost of the boom (25m reach) :o to the customer. The boom alone was £850 as its so big they can only fit one on the truck, hence a higher pick up and collection charge. I also increased the price by 20% for each floor up.....

i.e.   1st floor £xxx
        2nd floor £xxx + 20% ect....
