Title: cleaning lances
Post by: billozz on May 27, 2007, 02:26:47 pm
i saw a while ago a thread by sarah about a gutter cleaning lance that she had bought and that she thought it was a good tool.
has anybody used this type of tool for cleaning fascias and outside of gutters, just wondered if they do a good job. we tend to clean fascias and soffits from the ladder but obviously would be better to do them from the ground
thanks
Bill

The other thread on this, that you must have prompted, by poles apart looks fantastic. I bet it was expensive though.

Are these lances a bit messy spraying stuff everywhere?

I have one,  got it from Varitech 01626 830830. An excellent tool. Was very messy to begin with but with practice now realy easy to use. Setting the correct pressure from the pressure washer is important though or it gets very very messy!

It does an excellent fast job of flushing the gutters and is even better for removing heavy soiling in no time for the gutter outside surface and fascias. Also excellent for pressure washing walls.
Safe and faster, a good tool.
