Just got an email about cleaning two old Killim rugs, so before I contact them would like to know what I'm dwaling with, anyone got any pointers?

Colour migration and buckling...they need to be seen before you decide to go ahead or price even

Kilim big in the eighties, sort of thing sold in habitat.
rug has no pile, nightmare to clean if heavy soil/stains, Can go brown and colour run. Dry cleaning is a safe option, but no going to produce a good clean if filthy.

If wet clean keep it neutral and dry fast

Thanks for that, they were filthy, didn't do the job after your advice.
