is it easy to use. and has anyone tried the pocket pc version

i have just brought a navman pin 570, it runs OS Provided: Microsoft Windows Mobile for Pocket PC 2003 Premium.

I use it, In my honest oppinion it's well worth the money. :)
I also use pocket george and I am happy with that as well.

The bummer for you is that it pocket george will not run on widows based pocket pc.

I bought a cheap palm 130 off ebay for £25 just for that purpose.  ;)

does this system involve all forms of book keeping eg double entry books

No.
Double entry is a bookeeping method used in bookeeping programs such as sage. The idea being that a credit in one nominal account is balanced by a debit in another.

While George does keep track of your earnings and expenses and you can use it for all your accounting needs primarily it is to manage your work(round).
