Hi Dave,
Are you removing them from the machine to clean?

I use a long toothed Dog grooming comb. The teeth on the metal comb are about 1 inch in length so you can use them to scrub the fluff and fibres out of the brushes.
I got mine off EBay but I've seen them in tescos and Wilkinsons too. Should cost you no more than 3 or 4 quid
Stu :)
Oh yes, this is after I've taken them out of the machine :)

Stu, Thats almost exactly what i do, while cleaning the brushes in the sink and not managing to get all the fluff and muck out of them i decided to rumage around in the kitchen cupboards and came across the dog brush, it is the steel pinned type and works a treat.

turn it on, turn it upside down, and get a fork and hold it in the brushes as it spins. run it up & down.
the crap will come flying out ;)

There horrid, time consuming things to clean. Are any other makes better performers and easier to clean?
