Even though I've set up as a Window Cleaner with WFP I would still like to learn and become compitent in the art of Trad methods.
I've have the basic stuff and worked on my own windows, I do Ok but I dont look the part :-[ if you know what I mean (slow and clumsy)
Would anyone recommend the 1 day course with BWCA?
or
Is it worth buying the Window cleaning DVD?
If anyone has the DVD and doesn't need it would they like to sell it?
Cheers

Pittmonkey, if you go on youtube, theres a good few videos of lads doing trad, once you get past the speedsters theres a few that just show the method
After that its just practice and repeat

Thanks Pat, I will have a search.

Hi Pittmonkey,
I wouldn't bother with the course mate.
You spend most of the day in the classroom learning such things as H/S and 'the history of window cleaning'.
Only about ten mins' spent on the practical side.
Save your money and practice at home.
Good luck

Thats what I would imagine the course would be. Did you try it yourself Rhino?
I've been on other training courses in the past and they all spend 90% talking a glass eye to sleep, then expct you to wake up for 10 mins practical.

Yeah, did them both. Trad and w.f.p
Frazier the teacher was a good guy but i was a bit disappointed with the content. You got the ratio spot on 90% to 10% practical!!
Save your money and practice at home.
If you want to know about the history of window cleaning you can google it...save a packet!!
Good luck

There are a couple available from the window clean centre.

I'd say essentials one is worth it for trad work.
