Jeff, congratulations mate; girl or boy?  How heavy?  Is everything okay with Mum?

Were you there?

Anyway, I met a window cleaner this morning who was 75 years old, and a great-grandad (he only does a few a day), so you've got some way to go yet.

I just hope I'm that healthy when I'm his/your age!

Cheers Tosh
She was 6lb 13.5 oz, Mums fine and home tomorrow, she had that thing were they inject them in the back, if it wasn't for that, they would have kicked her out tonight.
I wasn't there, I was to late, But I seen all my own daughters being born and one grandson, and its enough to bring any grown man to tears. :'(

So if any of you guy's out there are thinking or about to have any kids, make sure your there, what a feeling of happiness you'll get.

Thats funny, my missus became a grandmother again today, so the two newborns share the same birthday. However, Im not the childs Grandfather, but still slightly coincidental, congrats on your family addition.

Thanks for all the best wishes Guy's, Just been on the phone to her, I must be old they allow them to have there mobile phones in the wards with them now :o

I can remember When my first daughter was born, I had to gown up with the hat, mask and gloves aswell ;D  nowadays they don't seem to care, my son-in-law turned up in bulding cloths and he went in  to see the baby born :o.

Got Skype etc but they havent got broadband anywhere near them and their telephony service is awful. :'(
Jeff, Got the news paper (not the sun ;D) and stored it away.
I didn't realise the austrailians were so far behind with broardband, were usually the last to have everything? unless they live so far out???

Just to stay on topic I did notice how bad the Hospital windows were ;D I also noticed they have a cradle system on the roof.
And no I don't want to quote for it, I absail of the hospital roof once a year for charity and don't intend to clean the windows on the way down. ;D
