Got a big job today , then lost it because I was not CSCS.
anyone in the Manchester area who wants a large job , they want it doing this week. Send me details,and I can give you a contact name . It must be tonight though or they will find someone else

IF YOU DONT HAVE CSCS THEY WONT LET YOU ON THE SITE, SO DONT ASK

if you ring the cscs hotline the first thing that they tell you i that its not a legal requirement to get on site. What co. is it

I was going to do the job for a cleaning company , I dont know who the main contractor is. But they told me if I dont have it I cant go on site.

see if they will confirm it with the main contractor, cos the backlog is so big all the checks have been put back to 02/07 for getting on site (if that makes sense)

You have to show your card when you go on site, I have not seen one but have been told ist just like a credit card

Yeap ive got one done and passed the H&S Exam but ive heard theres a massive backlog

I have looked on there web site but there does not seem to be one for window cleaning , which one did you take

John,
        Take the working at height course, pay about £30 and they send you a book of questions and answers. Then go and take the test, usually at the nearest driving test centre, it will only take about 15 minutes. There are other tests but we went on that one.
