Title: You usually get what you pay for.
Post by: Blackbushe Windows on May 19, 2007, 12:55:53 pm
After reading a number of posts re undercutting, thought this quote may help us all keep focused on correct pricing of our services.

"The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. It cannot be done.

If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run and if you do that, you will have enough to pay for something better."

John Ruskin  (1819 - 1900)

Wise words, do you think he had the dole wallers, scragging for an odd window to clean to get their beer money in mind when he wrote it?
