Title: what machine should i buy ?

can anyone advise me on what type of machine should i buy, i will be cleaning
residential and commercial carpet cleaning, i have about £1500 to spead
any help i would be greatful

if you can spend few hundreds more i would suggest buy a mytee 1003 dx very good machine i got one new from e-bay for £1800.00

As an ardent hwe person  ::) ;) I would probably go for an LM system, possibly the most cost effective way would be numactic rotary and bonnet. :'(

I have available a three year old steempro powermax with in line heater and twin jet stainless steel wand,25 ft hose, very nice condition, recent new induction 120 psi pump.Latest granite finish model.New machine arriving.£850 no VAT. No faults, great value starter machine.

Is the £1500 your total investment? If so, remember to budget for other necessary items.

Stephen,

Look at buying a second hand machine, you'll get a better machine for your money. All machines use similar internal components so replacements are readily available if needed.

I bought a new low powered machine when i first started but my last 3 gradually more powerfull machines have been second hand. Go for the best spec. machine you can afford without leaving yourself short!

There are normally a few for sale on here, ebay and other forums.
