The pump looks and sounds extremely good, and the guy selling them sounds very knowledgeable, giving good answers to queries.
But that pump would be just too powerful for window cleaning needs, 4 or 5 litres a minute is way more than you'd need :o

Agree with Ian,
Looks and sounds great but even with a two hose operation I think it will be too poerful and waste a lot of water as well as put more pressure on your connectors.
If you buy it, please let us know how you get on as without doubt for the money it looks a good bit of kit!

It would be okay with a varistream though.

Are you sure about that ??, I used a 100PSI Shurflo Pump and had problems
with the Flow Rate, couldnt get max Prewssure as the Vaistream could not handle the High Amperage. This was confirmed also by Variastream.

This came from Williamson Pumps when I spoke to them.
The Varistream was specifically designed to work with ONE particular pump - that being the Shurflo 100 psi model no. 8000-441-138 1GPM

Thanks for your replies guys.... but why are some 16 psi rated at 4-5 litres per min.... yet 60 will do , 100 is better yet 160 too much.... when the flow can be controlled...... what is a normal house / hosepipe pressure ? as when i use it on a conservatory it really blasts out, but i simply turn it down on the pole tap .
???
