Like the Lucy Mulligan thread, I do wonder what becomes of some of the new starters. They post keen as mustard full of ideas and enthusiasm, biulding a round nicely, then it stops.
Do you remember Carl Foster, he had some very good theories.
If you look back to some of the very earliest posts there was a guy set to earn 100k, I wonder what happened to him too.
Best of luck Mick.

He never finished off the software for window cleaners, so everyone who down loaded it has a half finished copy.

Yes I remember him too now, but I was talking about a different Carl, I told him to use being a single parent as a selling point and he went mad.
As regards software I wanted to do it myself in excel, and i did to start, but I am so glad that I listened to people on this forum and got George. It's brilliant, if I want tommows work or debts I just print it.
The only thing I don';t like aabout this forum is that it may give a too easy impression and encourage too many to start up.

If we're talking about the same person, I sold him a bit of work and took him out for a day to show him the ropes.
He was a bit 'dazzled' from this and another site stating how much window cleaners could earn, and since he was the head-gardener of a massive-posh hotel in Wales, running a team of six-lads, he assumed he'd be able to hack it and build on the work he bought ( a load from someone else) into a thriving business.
Within four months he went back to his old job!

Cheers for the welcome... My partner is a domestic cleaner an has been for over 10 years, she already has clients but never tried to take things any further. We have decided to look into doing things on a bigger scale, more clients, cleaning windows, gardening and painting and decorating. Only wish there were more hours in a day.... ;D

funny enough, this week i had a e.mail from some1 who started out part-time, belived the " razzle dazzle" from another site, packed in his job and canvass and earn 1K a week ( as he was told he could easy enough )
he is now working back in IT
i warned him, but he didnt listen
