hi there
12 sq ft is NOT 30 mins work.
is it a build clean tender ?? or an office clean tender ??

its an office clean martin and thank you for your response so quickly
-
office cleans general work on a per sq ft basis simple equation is between 160-180sq ft per person per hour.
Hope this helps
-
thanks for the quick reply I think that should help me.
So for example if the area is 1000sqft what would be the best way of converting it to hourly rate
-
divide the total sq ft by the sq ft average tells you around 6.25hrs .
convert that into staff and its around 2 staff 3 hrs/day or 6 staff 1hr/day approximatley!
hope you understand this i am not very good at explaining if you have any problems drop me a line on info@lk-hygiene.co.uk
cheers

Your standards must be incredibly high! :o
Try 2000 - 2500 square feet per hour and you're getting closer.
Therefore an office building of 10,000 square feet would take between 4 and 5 man hours.

sorry sue he is right i forgot the zero it should read 1600-1800 sq ft per hour
thanks for noticing that however i have emailed you sue with some proper calculations. :o

hi there
yes productivity ratios vary
some will price 1000-1300 sq ft per hr
whilst the big boys, ie airports etc will be looking for 2000-3000 sq ft per hour.
it all depends on the density of the offices as well ie furniture.
