i use a standard hose lock connector on a 11 mm hose any ideas to overcome the continual disconnecting

they leak a bit though.  I've upgraded to having a valve that I brought from pirtek before a hoselock stop, can turn on and off and doesn't leak.

I find they only leak when they get worn which for me is around 4/5months so try putting a brand new one on first , remember you disconect these anything up to 20 times a day on avg

i bought some really good superglue from Tesco's, I can get you some if you send me your address, it's waterproof too! Or just sellotape it on, it lasts about a day or so, then you have to renew it. You can buy 4 rolls in the pound shop for 99p. The best thing I found though was using candle wax just drip it on and hope for the best!!

thanks thomas do you know whether these control valves can have my 11mm pole hose in one end and my 15mm hose in the other.
