has anybody used theses yet, i know they are new but maybe someone got in quick. we need to buy some new poles and these seem pretty good lighter than universal better clamps etc but i am confused gardiner list them like so 10' 14' 18' 22' 26'
windowcleaning wharehouse list them like so 9' 13' 17' 20' 24' 27'
the extra foot doesnt really make a diff regarding use but if you are trying to price like for like its confusing i am sure someone will enlighten me
thanks
Bill

I just bought the 34ft X-Tel Hybrid (Carbon/Glass) pole but not had much chance to use it yet.
All I can say about the x-tel your on about is make sure they have it in stock before you order, my mate has been waiting several weeks for his as there not in stock.

thanks jeff,
and another thing....sorry guys but gardiners list them as different length section
2x5' to make up a 10'
3x 4' 7" to make a 14ft
4x 4' 6" .................17ft
4x 5' 6"...................20ft
5x 5'2" ....................24
why all the different lengths although i have to say gardiners info is thousand times better than w/c wharehouse as far as i can see they expect you to buy without knowing what brush, connectors or gooseneck comes with the pole

Hi Bill
When we took delivery of the X-Tel range, we measured them all! Simple as that. The section lengths represent an average for each section. The base section is slightly shorter than the average quoted length and the top section obviously is slightly longer.

Alex when are the carbon x-tel ones in please.Nigel.

Beginning of June. If you let us know what you want by email, we will hold it for you, no deposit required.

thanks for the reply alex,
so i need to check with w/c w/house if their stated lengths are accurate also there does seem to be a bit of a gap in the pricing between you and them alex you list an 18ft as about 87.20 +vat (if i add on a vikan sill brush and ez connector) they list a 17ft as 118.20 i must have missed summat there big difference
jeff i have unhidden my email thanks for lettin me knowit was hidden

I have one of the carbon/fibreglass composite 34ft ones and I LOVE it. :)
I also tried the fibreglass only ones at the Fed show. They are very light and the clamps are great.. BUT.. I wouldn,t want to use one at more than around 18 ft or so. They are very whippy. More than the old universal ones. For 2 storey work I suppose the 17ft (Ish) one will be fine but any longer and I wouldnt want it.

some people advertise the working height of the pole which is measured from the hip.
Somehow they all think we are incapable of working out how high we can reach with a pole.
