I hate saying this sort of thing but I'm now booked up for the next 2 weeks but the strange thing is every morning first job is a suite, it looks like I'm going to have to do what i hate and start cleaning 2 suites in one day :( :(
I'm not keen on suite cleaning becuase (per hour) I earn more money cleaning carpets, but the worlds gone suite cleaning mad.
any one else noticed an increase in suites? I thought now you can buy a new suite from £600 from DFS suite cleaning would decrease.

Hi Guys
Mike
It must be because your'e a suite lad ;)
I have my normal mix of work although I am currently developing a couple of suite/sofa cleaning websites which may alter this.
I never look forward to suite cleaning but funnily enough quite enjoy it when I'm actually doing it,.
I find suites can often be a challenge which keeps the grey matter working.
A few weeks ago I cleaned more than 10 HSL's in a week it's funny how we get blocks of the same kind of work
Cheers

Over the past few months Ive seen a downturn in suite cleaning maybe only one or two a week. Still cleaning plenty of carpet but increase in rug cleaning.

bragging or what booked for 2 weeks
i said three and was slaughtered.

Mike is one of the most prolific marketers on here, therefore it's reasonable to expect him to be booked in advance.
-
that's why i started my post with 'I hate saying this sort of thing' because i knew I'd get some comment like Vangaurds, my post is not to brag but to emphasise the point that for 2 weeks every day starts with a suite.

Do many take you up on that offer?Do you still run these offers at christmas?

I regard suites as a nessesary evil.
Did one today. Customer had me clean the through room carpet 2 weeks ago, then said thats great, come and clean my suite ::)
I didn't tell her, well it's best to have suite cleaned then the carpet at the same stroke.
I aim to make £50 per hour min on a suite.....but always take longer, cleaning those heavily soiled area's twice to make sure, cups of tea and a chat ;D
Todays £100, two and a half hours including tea ;D

Steve, its all the time, its even in my Y/Ps advert.
its amazing how many people go for it, that's why I've got a suite every morning for (more than) the next 2 weeks.
they can even go for the 'free protector' that i also offer which means if the pay for the carpet they get stain guard applied which means they pay the £140 for the suite then they pay £50 for the carpet and you come out of the house with £190 for the sake of £10 worth of protector.
So i try and push the free protector at the higher price but if they can't afford it they always go for the free room, either way I get the job.

Nice touch Mike, Now that's value for money ;)

I hate suites, did one yesterday, did one today, got another for friday, tomorrow and it's a leather, but then I charge peanuts at £75 +vat for fabric and £100+vat for leather .........oh what a fool I am!!!
I may try Mikes tactic and up the price, however I don't hold out much hope as I get enough of them baulk at the current price!!
