My fan jet pops out of my Vikan brush. I keep putting it back in but out it comes. What is the official method of reinsertion?
Also if one or both are blocked how do I address it?
Since getting a new brush i'm noticing that my old one is not right.

i did a DIY brush guide a year or 2 ago, i dont know if you missed it

I Looked and yes that explained it very clearly.
However mine came from a supplier and the tube fits straight onto the jet which is sort of wedged into the brush. There aren't any nuts etc.

i know a few of the gys over on the DIY use a spot of super glue to keep the pipe on connections

I had the same Jets and the same problem, I just put a tiny slither of fine plastic into the hole and forced the jet in, no problem since.

A few wraps of PTFE tape will sort it.

Sounds strange -
The hole should fit the jet properly. We don't use fan jets but I would imagine that if you mixed a very small amount of quick setting Epoxy two pack and put a smear around the jet itself and then back in the hole, this should hold it fast.

I think you should offer them as an option IMO :)

just cut a piece of air tubing, same size as stem, fit over like a sleeve, then push into the hole,
nice and tight :)

Your opinion is most valued Chris :)

Reinserted flush with the feed pipe fully on going into the back of the brush.
Gave them a good wriggling with a needle sjoved down them.
After two attempts flow/gush as good and clean as new brush.
Possibly being blocked was biulding the pressure to pop it off?

I used to use cable ties but the jets can also pop out of that sometimes. Was lucky I didn't break a window with it. Also, one jet popped into a rose bush so I left it there. I use O-rings now. It can be awkward if there's a blockage though. Just need to carry pincers and spare o-rings just in case. I try to unblock with a paperclip at first. Sometimes, with subsequent usage, the debris will push through. Otherwise, it just re-blocks.
PS. I use pencil jets rather than fans so this may make a difference.
