How high are first floor windows normally in metres

12 ish  foot

but i wouldnt by a 12 foot pole if thats what your thinkin, i had one and it was useless

go for a 18. i could be barking up the wrong tree though

It depends if it's an old place or a new place.

Modern house say 3.5 - 4 meters

Older house say  about 6ish meters to ledge.

Buy a tape measure to be sure.
