Title: black treaders on stairs

hi

we come up against problems with these rails all the time

has anyone got a product they can recommend?

I usually just scrub them with a stiff brush, they are a pain in the arris  ;D

We use a polish called Select. it comes in trigger applicator bottle.
Simply spray and buff.
It is non slippy.
Silicone based, and it reverts to water very quickly (COSHH)
Completely harmless.

you of your head aint ya,   I use select furniture polish too, but not on the stairs,
it is slippery, you said it yourself it`s silicone based, i`d say your asking for a claim against you.

Easy to prove. Test it yourself. Tread materials vary though.
That's all I did... and it's not slippy on any of the treads we have cleaned. Simple as that!
(but test the on the bottom step lol - and don't tell them I told you to!)
