Hi Guy's
2 Weeks ago my tds reading was rising, so I changed my resin and it reduced the reading to 000, now after 2 weeks it has risen again to 004
Just checked my readings again and its gone up to 007 after a back flush, (I did let it run for a while before the test) the reading before the DI is 014, and 007 afterwards its only the small vessel 11'' one
can anyone tell me whats happening, or do I need to change any filters?

How much pure water do you use a day Jeff? And what is your tap TDS reading?

thats odd, my uncle has just changed his pre filters and resin, and his has rose to 10 in like a week!

I use about 200 ltrs a day and my tap reading is 286

I disconnect my RO from my DI when I flush it out. I,ve tested the readings out of the RO before flushing, during flushing and after. The TDS reading during flushing goes up quite a bit and it seems to take 30 mins or so to settle back down again when I stop flushing so I let it all go to drain during flushing and for that 30 mins after.
Also we have had a long dry spell so I reckon the calcium content of the water has risen quite a bit lately so a flush will put out a lot of this.
Your resin is done in Jeff. I would change that and the prefilters if you have them on your RO if you havent changed them for say around 3 months or so.

Its only been in there for 2 weeks, before it started to rise it was in there for a couple of months, are you saying I'll have to change it more regular in this warm weather?
I am about to order some new pre-filters, were is the best place to get them???
