Hi
I have been asked to quote on this.
Please can some of the more experienced among us give an idea of what this job could be worth in the North East.
It is a block of 12 flats which are basically mirror images of each other so each flat has 3 front windows which include opening 'french doors' on the 1st and 2nd floor (8 in total) with the dread rails in front with gaps of 90mm between the bars. Each flat has a single side bathroom window.
The entrance is to the rear with a centre door and stairway with double doors on the ground floor and 2 windows on the other 2 floors.
Expect to clean 4 weeks but owner may push for every 6 weeks as they negotiated with the clean on their private residence.
To be cleaned WFP naturally.
Travelling = 12 miles each way.
Thanks for your input.

I hate those bl00dy bars what on earth do they think there good for eh
-
I'd want £75 here for that.

I'd go with JM123 £75 sounds right may be push to £85-£90. If they want 6 weeks up the price accordingly. Is it worth it though with the travel?
Simon.

the travelling wouldn't bother me - we regularly travel 30 miles each way.

Yeah I suppose your right. With the travel and the work your looking at about an hour maybe hour and half. Not many jobs would pay £75 hour, it's a tough world isn't it.

i would say £70
i think i could do that in under two hours using ladders, but considering its wfp, just over the hour?

Is it 2 blocks or just the one we can see with the other six flats at the rear, if so where do you get 12 windows from.

Hi Gary
There are 4 flats to a floor, 2 in the front and 2 at the rear. Each flat is identical window wise on the first and second floor - 1 grilled french door to the lounge, 2 bedroom windows and a bathroom window. On the ground floor the french doors are replaced by a standard window for security reasons.
Thanks all for your input - hopefully there could be another block of 15 later which would make the journey more worthwhile but I would rather work with what's there and count the proverbial chickens once they have hatched.
Thanks again

I've found Gaz's swivel brush great for the balcony rails.

I always quote flats like this and it works every time
ground floor flats £10.00 each
1st floor flats £12.00 each
2nd floor fltas £13.00 each
3rd and above £15.00 esch
then you can discount them on quantity
i do numerous blocks of flats the biggest being 70 in 1 blcok so i charge £10 each and can do in 2 days
