My RO will be in the shed which is 3 yds away from kitchen. Is it sensible
to run one or two, extension cables from kitchen to shed to run RO, booster
pump, frost heater and lighting in shed?? I didn't want to go down the
expensive route of having power in the shed but will it be OK to do this by
extension cables and does anyone else do this???
Likewise with water supply to shed. Is a standard hose running from Water
Soften in kitchen to RO in shed sensible. I know the hose will have to be
lagged.
All advise appreciated especially if any have done this.

yes it'll be fine
a extension lead will be ok, i would get 1 with a "circuit breaker" the plug end, then if anything happened, it would just trip the breaker out, a bit of extra safety
Oh and also get the thickest cable you can, i would make my own with some 40 amp cable ( the heavy duty stuff for cookers and powershowers )
a hose connected will be fine
make sure you have the sockets off the floor, that way, if you have aoverflow of water, you will be safe, though if you use a "circuit breaker" you wll be ok anyways

Thanks matt. What do you use to lag hose?? Recommend anything??
