i did 2 yesterday and personally i think they are too time consuming, im not offering it anymore.
i know i charge far too cheap for them anyway, but i cant be arsed with em.
-
Shame you are not closer to me. I would do them. I love them mainly because I make so much out tof them. ;D
-
I was going to peel off the signwriting on my van that mentioned conservatories. They are hard work you must get your pricing right. I've now got some tfr but haven't used it yet.
-
well i think the answer to that is not to take the sign off, but just put a good price in, never ever do one below 40, come on its not costing you anything to keep the sign on, and if you do put a good price in a dont get it no sweat off your nose, but id you do get it, well your in the money
-
ive taken it off my website and i wont be offering it anymore ;D
-
I agree with Alex.
put your price up to what you would be VERY happy with. If the customers says yes then you are quids in. If they so 'no', no loss to you.
My con roofs price has gone up now cos Im not as desperate for the work as I was last year when I started w/c.
-
Last one I did took me 10-15 mins and I charged her £10.
That'll do me. I'll have more please. :P

Minimum price at the moment(due to being summer) £120.00 just for the outsides. Normally do these on a Saturday as extra, did two last week one took 2.5 hours charged £165.00 the other 3 hours and charged £250.00 as was slightly bigger! Most customers will say thats expensive what ever price you give them, but stick to your guns as i have not had anyone not have it done due to desperation!! Most window cleaners wont do conservatories as they think they are too much hassle, so im getting lots of one off jobs!! Put your prices up!

wats best way to clean em,pole or water fed pole.
-
I always spray tfr on, scrub with brush, rinse off with tap water and polish up with pure!
-
£185 I quoted for this one because I didn't want it, I ended up getting it but only charged her £150 in the end, plus the promise to have it done twice a year at £100 a time.

£5 per panel roof, more if it is green with algae.

;D
It only takes about a minute.
So a ten minute job is £50?
-
A minute , wow you are quick. Sound like y misses ;D ;D
-
Your average roof pane is twice the size of a window, max.
Shouldn't take much more than that.
-
It does if you are doing the frames also and they are green

If it is a glass roof with hardly any dirt then yes, but if not glass and with algae it will take at least 10mins per panel and that is with tfr.
-

You guys using TFR - what's the method you use - do you have seperate brushes from your wfp or what. Where do you get the TFR and what ratio mix do you use.
I'm a bit wary of damaging a customer's polycarb roof.
-
Yes keep a brush just for using with tfr jobs
I dilute 20:1
