Post by: misterrartois on April 26, 2007, 09:31:37 am
Hi all

I have got a lot of rugs to clean in the near future.I read somewhere you can buy some kind of trough to clean the tassles? If so,where does one get one from??Also what would you soak them in???

This is quite a big step for me as i have only done carpets till now and really want to make a good job.All my Jan 2007 ncca advice has long gone from these old memory banks! ???

Many thanks for any advice guys.

So much to talk about as an answer.  If you want to drop me an e-mail or give me a call I will try to answer at least what I think is best.  Best, Dave.

I dont know the item you're talking of but what about using some large box section guttering?

The most important issue here, would be the need for a controlled drying facility.

I used to clean a lot of barrier mats that are very absorbant to dry them i made some hanging rails fatened to the garage wall, hang the rus over and use a turbo dryer. Remember to turn the rugs.
