Whats left of it is absolutely brilliant, thanks Jeff
-
AArgh !!!! What do you mean whats left of it ???????? Have you bust it already ?
-
Yeah I trod on the second section within fifteen minutes of using it. >:( But whats left is superb for domestic work, I'll be buying another when finances improve.
-
So the second section of the fishing pole you discard anyway as its far too thin. Is that the part you trod on ?
-
Yes but I'm talking second section from the other end! :(
-
If you took my original advice to also buy the glass fibre Zensorflex to use for the top sections, you will find that the last two unused base sections will fill the gap of the broken pole piece. The base section of the zensor fits over the base of the reload etc No extra cost :)
In fact the glassfibre zensor sections can be intermingled to combine to give you at a stretch a 32-33ft pole, bit bouncy but hey its a longer pole for the odd job and not even you cannot break the Zensor ( I hope)

Umm good advice there jeff I'll order one right away!
-
In some shops they are only 18.99 others are this years new price of £24.99 so shop around.
But if you can wait till sunday I may have a different answer as I am trying a true mind bogglingly really cheap pole for everyone.Including for overseas and USA and rest of world. (delivery Friday)
-
I'll wait then. ;D
-
i must admit to liking the weight of the Zensor, its very light
im going to cut mine and fit the brush etc etc this weekend, if i get the time
-

I got both and 99% of the time just use the zensor as I find it perfect for me after the Unger 5 x 1.25m, so light and easy to use, and if I need to go higher add the Reload sections, all in all 2 great poles for £70
-
Thanks John, It just takes a leap of faith to try modular. Most use the Zensor first 2 sections together, and carry another two combined in the same hand, they also put them on the roof rack like that.
If you employ staff or by yourself then you need to give them the best choice available. As you said its two poles for less than £70 and no other middle man, its as common as muck and cannot be taken advantage of by any supplier. I have high hopes of drastically cutting the costs of c/f high poles. 3 types being delivered tomorrow.
Its just a brush on a stick. Its the technology thats made it happen though.

i ordered another idea i had this week when i took delivery of the Zensorflex
i hope it'll be here early next week, i will post my finding when i get it, it looks promising though :)
-
gonna order one now, for that money if it lasted a week I'd be happy enough!

I've been using the Zensor now about 2 Months and every day for the last 5 to 6 weeks, although the coating is beginning to wear off the ends that get pushed into the others, I'd hope for many more months yet ;D
Well worth £20
-
is it light? I' m only asking as I have about 9 days in the month which are 2 storey days, all biggish blocks of work so something that is light is essential. until now I've been using my trusty ecolite but wouldn't mind trying the zensor or reload for the job.
-
The Zensor glass fibre is light compared to what you have previously used as its tapered, but heavy compared to Reload carbon composite. Lightest and stiffer, but more delicate is a carbon fibre.
-
cheers mate, where can I order both from (I want to order from the same place)
-
Anyone ?
