Paul I once worked out how I could really get AMAZING drying times!!
i was getting carpets dry in 4 hours then Nick from solutions said if I used a Scorpion I could cut an hour off my drying time so that's 3 hours then I read on the ICS site that airmover will speed up drying by 50% so that's 1hr 30 mins, then greenie said if i used a glide it would cut a couple of hours of my drying time that means I'll have the carpets dry 30 mins before I even get there :D :D

Todays the worst possible day for drying. Wet outside, no wind, around 16c and I was cleaning 100% wool berber which take longer to dry normally.

I have used a dessicant dehum over the last couple of days in conjunction with an Airmover and ducted the wet air outside.
Bit of a faff to set up and basically and 80/20 was dry. I tested by putting a piece of weights kitchen roll down to see if any transfer of water. Not a drop. Cust was well pleased.

I use a truckmount and a glide on my wand, 80/20 will take 4 hours til touch dry and 12 hours at least before fully dry.
I love these dry in an hour guy's ::)

I've been getting carpets touch dry before I leave the customers home, 2 turbo driers strategically placed and a bit of post grooming.

I just tried this as an experiment to c if using dry air to improve the times and to me it did. it wasn,t a big room by any means but it certainly improved. I ducted the dry air into the airmover and also around the room and vented the wet air out through a vent grill.I doubt I would do this on too many jobs but had the kit on board.
