Title: WHAT IS THE BEST CLEANING DETERGENT

what is the best window cleaning detergent to buy gg4, gg3, fairy, unger gel there are so many types out there i don't know which one to buy i only clean house windows so any thoughts would be very helpful

Post by: Majestic on April 22, 2007, 08:03:49 pm: Its all down to personel choice, some like lots of suds other dont. I would try different ones until you find the one you are happy with.
I have tried most. GG3 did not have any suds
I did like the Unger it has a nice smell, but I now use window cleaning wharehouses own brand

i currently use Squeegy Off but its very expensive but works great for me. once i run out i will try something different until i find the 1 i like the best.

what i have found works an absolute treat, its called neutral detergent, and its made by a company called minatol limited, and the best part is it only cost 3pounds for 5l, a fraction of the price of all other liquids, its looks like fairy, suds like fairy, but also cleans great with not alot of suds, and slides like a hot knife through butter, and doesn't dry you hands out as much.

Post by: Spursboy1972 on April 24, 2007, 06:53:21 am: For me I tried GG3 and GG4 and have not looked back since. Fairy dries out and streaks in warmer weather and GG3/4 does not. It also lasts ages so although more expensive, it, lasts a hell of a lot longer.
I would be interested in trying the chemical listed above as anything to save a few quid...

I've used Fairy
Then:- GG4 (in preparation to change over to wfp)
Then:- GG3 (using pure water for inside work/entranceways)

I have just started using glimmer clean and initially like it as it has low suds but more slip than GG3 (and is a lot cheaper).
