Hi all im a bit confused i want to start up i've been told to start up as a sole trader but i have a question. can i go under a business name or can i only go under my name?
any help appreciated

You can chose your business name or use your real name.

You can use a Business Name. Your Bank account Paul Stevens T/A Your company Name.

As far as I know it comes down to local knowledge don't quote me on that though, chose your name and check yellow pages that's all i did, There is another CMS in Sussex  but there scaffolders in Brighton and that doesn't pose a problem.
