Dave sorry to jump on your post (for give me)

Alex

I purchased a submersible pump from you and just about to connect the Delivery hose for submersible pump, does this need a stainless steel hose clamps! would this rust (pure water) or can it just be pushed on with out any clamping!

Andy
PS again sorry for jumping on your post Dave  :)

I'm sure Dave will forgive you, he's that kind of guy!

I would recommend fitting a stainless steel Jubilee clip as it will be a pain to get to if it ever works it way off.

OK big thank you, I am off to http://www.hyphose.com/ in the morning for other connectors, so I will put this on my list, also the 70 LPM Booster Pump
I purchased from you, will it turn it self off when my IBC tank is full or should a put it on a timer switch at the electric mains

Andy
PS that was my last question  :-X

It is specified with a an inbuilt pressure switch, but as it will be connected to an RO system I would imagine that it would not activate properly unless you had an Ro with full waste cut-off (Merlin, etc). The best way is to try it out and if it doesn't then a timer would be a sensible option.

YES I have a Merlin (Purchased from you) so thats good news  ;)

Again, thank you Dave. I would quote £120  ;)

Hi Dave,

Just wanted to let you know that Alex has been ill today - or I know he would have had a look at that job for you.  I'm sure he'll be in touch as soon as he's up and about again.  I didn't want you to think he'd forgotten!

Regards

Kirsty

Hi Alex, connected every thing up, fill the whole system with water, the pump kicked in for 5 secs and then STOP  :-\ checked fuses, everything!

I am not sure what to do, as my pressure is low (30psi) and need to fill up for work  :'(
