hi there
i may be aquiring a ninja, 120ps1 with 240" LIFT, fingers crossed.
what would the ideal perating hose lengths be on this. i believe the current chap is running 100ft, is that OK, good, bad, or silly.
im running abut 40ft from my prochem cheyenne at present.

100ft ok no problems!!! :)

For the most efficient set up, always run the shortest hoses possible. I believe that most Ninja users run upto 100ft.
Safe and happy cleaning :)

we use 25ft mostly but can run up to 50ft when we need to,the ideal hose length is really about 35ft or 40ft this will do most houses :-\ most sad when you need just another 6ft when you have to add another bloody 25ft :P
-
ian do you use or have used Rhino say 500 psi,as you can get one for around 1400£ ::) just wondered what the Rhino has over if any than the ninja we have 135 psi now,but the cost to go 400psi is loads more dosh,so the Rhino is good value :-\

went for the ninja because they are local to me and as i had some problems with my last machine this was very important this time around.
one great thing about portables is that you can replace the vac and pumps cheaply so if you are on a budget old machines can be reconditioned easily.

100 ft on the vacuum side no probs but 120 psi over 100 ft??
Is it worth it?
Upholstery fine but carpets? You'd be wise to upgrade your pump pressure a lot at that hose length.

Martin,
the ninja has the same vacpower as the prochem so the same lenths for both
-
Ian ashbys are about 8mls from us and have always gave us good service, what model do you have :-\
-
I have used 75ft of hose on a 135psi Ninja several times without problem.
-
when we use longer hoses we always break down to shorter asap,as there must be some suction loss at greater the hose length :-\

Ashby are great that's why i choose them. it was a different business that sold me my last machine. sorry as it does sound like i had problems with them when you read the other message.

Ian have you got the 400 psi ninja :-\

Hi Terry
yes, have not got the hang of the mix between flow and pressure yet. martin told me to keep flow closed and pressure full up.
what your advise?
I am reviewing all my methods at the moment and what i use. i sold my laptop to trevor woodman the other day and was talking to him about his methods, very interesting. i like lots of options so the more ideas the greater understanding of new products and methods.
How about you do you just use one method?

I have just but the third system into my transit connect, its like doctor who's tardis in the back. i am on the lookout for a heater bucket if you hear of one let me know. i don't hold out much hope with all the health and safety around these days.

hi there
i'm told that heater buckets are only available in usa,
they seeto have been outlawed here,
dont know how true that is.
