With a lot of help and advice from people on the forum, reading post and meeting up with members I've been able to order my Van mout system from various suppliers.
I now need to select the right poles. Looking at domestic work only at the moment and need advice on what the best all round pole or poles would suit me best.
thaks again for all the help so far

24ft carbon facelift & 8ft (2x4ft) extender. both with rectangular vikan brushes fitted with 2mm pencil jets & adjustable plastic angle adaptors. ;)

Thanks Mac
Would 24 ft be enough for these new 3 story town house's they are throwing up everywhere, or would 30ft be more suitable.
Hi Kirsty if you are reading this are you available for a chat today or should I ring Tuesday.

I use a 25ft pole but for 95% of my work the 3x4 feet extender pole is brilliant. No swapping poles over, just close up and do the bottoms.
I used to use 18ft pole and minipole (4ft) but now save loads of time by using just 1 pole when i can get away with it.

Peter Fogwell has a brand new concept pole out that sounds a bit like a telescopic carbon fibre, have a look on his site. It will be at the Blackpool Fed show.

sorry for the delay wayne
can't comment on the length of pole for town houses as don't do any myself but, although the facelift is telescopic, all the sections are detachable, so (for example) if you were to buy the 30ft pole you could take 2 sections off at any time & use it at 18ft. just add/remove sections to suit your work, but just be aware, if you do this, that your base section will be carbon & so common sense is required i.e. dont be swinging the pole around any over-head power cables. you can ovcourse buy a fiber glass base section for any length but you will be pushing the cost up. it's more of the need to be aware rather than a danger, like i say, common sense.
hope this helps.

I was thinking on the lines of a facelift but needed to take cost into account after buying all the set up and Van. Will spend more on the pole once I've got got the extra cash.
I went for a Custom 3 x 5 ft gf Exel with Vikan Brush and 24ft Gf Exel with Gooseneck and Vikan both from gardiners with all the trimings.
"Thanks for the chat Kirsty" :)
If I need anything over 24ft will go for the Carbon stuff. Will be having a look round at Blackpool.
Thanks for the input everyone
