Had a right so-and-so today: A first-time customer for me:
Not a big or hard house to clean, a 3 bed semi, in and out. 1 hr and I'm done and think I've done a reasonable job considering the sun at the front is drying the gear almost as fast as I can blade off!
C: You seem to have missed a bit.
Me: Oh sorry love show me and I'll go over it again.
C: It's the Velux. (They are on the front where the sun is beating down).
I have a look and for the life of me can't see anything too drastic. She's standing behind me and says: "That top left hand corner...it doesn't look clean."
What's happened is where I've bladed/detailed the top bit is almost unreachable without a small pair of steps so I've used my extention pole and of course it's never quite so good.
What gets me though is that this is in the attic and the room is used as a junk room....!!!
damn ME do people really think their £15 gets their tatty old windows looking like they've just been installed?

Heard a snotty woman complaining about how much window cleaners earn the other day. She works in a supermarket at £6 an hour so obviously £15 an hour sounds extortionate to the uneducated. Does she stop work when the weathers bad? Does she run a van? Does she have to drive from job to job etc etc. Oh and to end it all she said she had a "proper" window cleaner (i'm wfp)

Dump her mate, if she has started already she will only get worse plus far too cheap.

Absolutely!!
A customer like that will just be a pain in the rear for evermore. I see the job was in SW London. I live well outside London but I would price a lot higher than that. Maybe £15 outside only but even that could be a little low depending on the layout.

For what it is worth Simon my pricing is hopeless mate so keep trying and get a bit more adventurous too price wise.
