Title: Tax/Expenditure Issues

We need to work out tax/expenditure figures for family tax credit.  Does anybody know what happens when the years expenditure is higher than the tax liability?

I think the taxman helps with stuff like that.  If you ask them, then there is no risk of being wrongly advised on here.
I suppose it's a choice of regarding your income as zero or whether they subsidise any loss through extra credits?  I imagine that the "zero" option is more likely but really, I haven't a clue.

Not a club i belong to, i just pay loads of tax so all these freebies go to others.  ::)
