Hi are there any guys out there willing to part with a 250 litre water tank for a reasonable price.
not looking for new just yet or to pay new prices for used ones ;)
can any kind soul help . ???

if i lived local i would snap it up...but fuel costs would take me to around 100 quid. total.

2 years old.
The price for a new one is totally irrelevant here ::)
It isnt just second hand it is 2 YEARS OLD and as such has lost most of its value. ::)
I would say £30 is a more than fair price.
By the way I am not after a tank so have no vested interest in lowering your price.

I know you are looking at second hand (as I was) but they were still £60/70 then you have to pick it up and hope it's local, in the end I just got the cheapest new one I could find. Ask em nicely and they throw in an outlet connector too.

What a good reply and a good site too for the tanks... much cheaper new and certainlly embraces petskis view of people trying to rip people off..

when something is up for sale, it is generally only worth wht someone will pay for it. Therefore you sayin that I can only get £30 for it is irrelevant especially as you are not even interested in buying it !!!

Strikes me, you are trying to make out that I am some sort of rip off merchant which I am not. I am just an ordinary bloke trying to make a living and thought I would be doing someone a favour by offering it up for sale.
Looks like I WAS WRONG. I have learnt that I will not bother putting up anything up for sale on this forum in the future. People seems to want something for nothing !!!!

Seriously tho Mustafa dont take it to heart,we all have a right to comment on posts otherwise whats the point of a forum :)
I simply gave my opinion,if someone wants the tank and is willing to pay £60 they wont take a blind bit of notice of me ;)

I think £60 is fair enough. If I wanted one I'd buy it. But I don't at the mo. Unless you are willing to take £45? ;D ;D
