Like all things you get what you pay for
A good make of resin is Rohm and Haas .
I get mine from here

http://www.cleaningspot.co.uk/acatalog/De-Ionising_resin_and_water_softener_resin.html
25L Rohm and Haas resin
Ref: 22

Price: £61.00 (£71.68 Including VAT at 17.5%)

Rohm and Haas Virgin mixed bed DI resin (25L) for total de-ionisation (DI), equivalent to Purolite MB400 and Dowex MB50. This resin is naturally yellow.

Do not buy purolite, its longevity is terrible, dowex is far better, i use this myself & way out-performs purolite. not tried the rohm & hass thing yet though.

rohm & hass is the one I just bought, but I'll stick clear of purolite in the future ;)

Another tip... Don't listen to people on forums - most of them talk rubbish ::)

ok then jeff, just to back this up, speak to mike at cleantech, he's currently sourcing dowex as he's agreed that purolite is pants!
