I know that this has been covered before, but at the time I didn't take much notice 'cause it didn't affect me, but what is the best way to connect my wfp to a spare 12v battery and not to my van battery?
If someone could explain this to me in idiot form I would be very grateful, and may even understand it, though I'm not promising. ???
At the moment there appears to be just the one wire, connected to the + terminal on my battery, and it's been like this since summer last year with not too many problems, but I'd much rather run it off a spare battery kept in the back of the van.
Any idiot proof advice would be very warmly recieved.
Many thanks.

Blimey lads and lasses, I thought someone might have had some ideas by now!!!
The jobs actually done now, and it was dead simple. Pump to live terminal on the battery, with a switch in between, negetive terminal to the frame of my water tank to earth it, job done.
I have a spare battery as well, but can set it up so that my alternator charges my wfp battery with the flick of a switch.
Thanks to those who at least took a look!!
