Hi guys ;D
I am planning on starting my own business and this site was recommended to me. I was wondering if anyone has a list of things I need to do to start my business, I know i need to register company etc but i was hoping someone had an 'idiots' guide (so to speak!) I was always under the impression we used our own cleaning materials, but i spoke to the cleaner at work and she said you always use the clients stuff? Also has anyone stayed working full time until the business got busy? if so, how did you find this? Also, has anyone got a sample introduction letter which i can send once i have myself sorted out? Sorry for list of questions - hope someone can help me :D

Tracey, click on search option at top of page and key the words " starting a cleaning business" loads of information on this subject already there.
Also you tend to get a better response when you give idea of your location.
good luck ;)

Hi, thanks for advice. Im in East Hertfordshire :)

hi there
always cost contracts with materials supplied.
materials are 3% to 5% of the monthly charge.
why ---
cuase if you use client materials, if they run out and dnt replenish in time , you cannot provide the best service possible.
