Title: Van Insurance
Post by: Pittmonkey on April 02, 2007, 04:01:10 pm
Just had a quote from Budget via Aplan for Citreon Dispatch and was very pleased with the quote.

Am i right in saying if you take your NCD to a  Commercial Van insurance you can not take it back to normal car insurance at a later date, basically you revert back to zero NCD for car insurance.  :( Anyone know the reason why?.

Thanks
Wayne

I changed my insurance over to the van today and got a £70 refund!

Don't you just love insuring commercial vehicles? ;D

I did find the quote very reasonable, a few quid cheaper than I expected. This is using my full NCD from my current policy.

£70 in the old sky rocket is great the bad side squeaky is if you go back to having a car you can't take you NCD back with you.  :( (Apparently)

Not sure what you mean by 'mirror bonus' Marc. Can only use NCD on any one vehicle at a time may be wrong though.

Not for me mate. ;)

Apparently they don't have a specific van insurance, so it's insured at the same premium as an estate.
Hence it's still a car.
