mostly they do they are standerd

QD fittings are almost standard throughout our industry. The only problems you may come across is when one brand will have a female fitting and another a male fitting. Spanners and ptfe tape is all that's required to change over.
Safe and happy fettling :)

Ollie,
Why do you want a prochem handtool? (I assume you're talking about upholstery cleaning).
I used one when I first started (was sold one with my first machine). I wouldn't use any prochem handtool for upholstery again, I use the hydramaster drimaster at present and its the dogs......
The only other upholstery handtool I would consider would be the cfr. Never tried one but have read and heard loads of excellent comments on it.
Another cleaner near to me has a cfr handtool and will do a awap for a day with my drimaster to compare results. I will post when I have compared the two!
Both products I recommend can be found here:

I do however use the prochem glidemaster 4" hand tool for stairs. Excellent!
Kind regards,
Jason.

jason ..how does the drimaster work?
-
Hi Ollie,
Its got an on / off valve instead of a trigger and the solution flows out of one slot, across the cleaning head and into the vacuum slot.
If the flow rate is adjusted right you get no overspray at all (unlike the prochem and other similar open spray models).
More details about the drimaster are here:
http://www.cleansmartsupplies.co.uk/acatalog/Hydramaster_Drimaster_Hand_Tool.html
You can even have one on free trial and send it back if you dont like it, cant say fairer than that.
All the best,
Jason.

You really do need to trial one. They are a little awkward to get used to, but I wouldn't send mine back!
