Daveyboy i did the course in December and just stayed at the venue ,NSPCC training center Tel 0116 234 7241 the food was spot on and the bar stayed open til silly aclock

when is the next one :-\

That's right John. If you leave on the Saturday to get home.
But if the travel is too long, and need another night (and want a break from the wife.)
the Days not bad.
Needed the carpets cleaned by the way.

My advice is to stay at the venue...
The course finishes (or used to) around six o'clock and after the meal there is an opportunity to network with fellow cleaners and the tutors
Plus the surrounding area is not the best to go wandering about at night
-
I'll go with Derek on this one. The networking opportunities of staying at the venue are enormous. Just don't take what everyone says as being gospel ::) Carpet cleaners don't tell lies :-X but the alcohol can lead to a little exageration ;)
Safe and happy cleaning :)

Theres a great pub up the road from the NSPPC building, cant remember its name (its near Tesco's), walking in there is like walking on the set of Little Britain ;D

Andy...I repeat my warning...the one you have quoted
Trust me I am assured that Police dogs go around in pairs
-
Thanks for your replys.
How near is the train station?
Thanks.
-
I would guestimate the train station is about four miles away...the other side of the city centre
-
cost me a tenner in a taxi from the train station to the venue
-
Thanks, this course is getting more & more expensive, I do hope it's worth it!
