I've been asked to quote for a pressure wash job on a Sprinkler Tank. Its galvanised steel - covered in moss and general slime.
what is the best way to clean this and what chemicals should i use? The customer is also considering having it painted and would I would like some information?
They want a method statement and risk assesment - i have never written one (never done commercial) and any help would be very help full.

One think I do know from past experiance with galvanised steel. You MUST traet the galv surface withan ETCHING primer before painting as if you just undercoat and then paint in the normal maner, all the coats will peel off on patches away from the galvanised surface as normal stuff won't stick to it
