I guy's. What methods do you find work best for removing candle wax from carpet??. It's an 80/20 twist if that helps.
Many thanks

Hair drier on a warm setting , obviously not too close, remove the bulk, with scraping and any residue with solvent

I had huge probs getting candle wax out of an 80/20 a few weeks ago, tried all the methods, heat/blotting paper/solvent/ect, in the end rid-a-gum did the trick

It's the coloured (normally red) candle wax on cream carpets that I struggle with, I can get the wax out but not always the staining.

Rid-a-Gum = solvent and I agree, it's a good product............when I used it, the biggest problem, was leakage.
-
carpetguy,
regarding the leakage you`ve got to put the blue stopper back each time it`s a pain I agree. You could allways transfer contents to a better bottle, trouble is they fit nicely in your pocket along with the wire brush.........OUCH!
REGARDS RICE.

iron method, use damp terry towel folded once, place over candle wax, iron on low heat to start with, iron the towel and wax will melt into the towel, this has always worked with me. always use freezing spray on chewing gum. Mark.

Eco spotter from solutions or zap it from one step ...think they are atomised alcohol spotters. If you make a few cuts into the blob spray either of these on and leave for a few mins it turns to mush and you can flush away. They haven't failed me once since i found out about them and i get much better results than from solvent.

scrape of the worst ..............then citrus gel followed with h/w/e!!!!!!
